This painting started off horribly. I was experimenting with using a new medium that went all wrong. In my frustration I almost took the painting out back and smashed it, but its such a large canvas, so then I considered dumping primer all over it and painting over it. But after a few breaths and a few days of working on other projects I went back to it........and this is what came from it.

As many of my paintings lately have been done in alot of dark jewel tones, I decided to try and work with some brighter colors. I don't consciously try to make my paintings so dark, so to make an effort to make the colors come out bright was rather difficult. But im happy with the results.
