I am not a photographer, I dont have the eye for it or the equipment. My crappy camera taking crappy pictures just wasn't cutting it. Soooooo, I got my wonderful friend Gord Wylie to do what he does best and snap some beautiful shots of some of my more recent paintings. If you are interested in any of these paintings contact me at email@example.com or check out "golo" downtown Penticton. And check out Gord's photography on facebook "Wylie Photography"
This painting started off horribly. I was experimenting with using a new medium that went all wrong. In my frustration I almost took the painting out back and smashed it, but its such a large canvas, so then I considered dumping primer all over it and painting over it. But after a few breaths and a few days of working on other projects I went back to it........and this is what came from it.
As many of my paintings lately have been done in alot of dark jewel tones, I decided to try and work with some brighter colors. I don't consciously try to make my paintings so dark, so to make an effort to make the colors come out bright was rather difficult. But im happy with the results.
